Picturesque Halls Lake is located in the Haliburton Highlands in Central Ontario. Halls Lake is a hidden gem to some and an annual family getaway destination to others, but it will always be the place where hundreds of couples exchanged heartfelt vows. Sandy Lane Resort rests on a private slice of Ontario heaven on the northwest corner of Halls Lake. There are several potential ceremony locations. You can say “I do” near the sandy beach with the still lake as a backdrop, or on the colorful forest’s edge. After you’ve officially been announced as a married couple, you and your wedding party can pose for everlasting photos on our lengthy dock, in a red canoe, on the sandy beach, or near the lush forest.
Banquet Hall Reception
Your wedding guests are in for a genuine treat because Sandy Lane Resort has a fully-licensed banquet hall with a handful of Ontario’s best caterers on call. You’ll also be able to rent the entire resort: grounds, beach, Banquet Hall, cottages, and all! So, feel free to dance the night away and celebrate the beginning of something truly magical. The resort can sleep up to 118 guests, and our Banquet Hall seats 150 comfortably.

Start your honeymoon with an unforgettable long weekend on the lake. We have canoe, kayak, and paddle boat rentals aching to be utilized. Our secluded Ontario cottages come equipped with peaceful views of Halls Lake, wood-burning fireplaces (a rarity among Ontario resorts), full kitchens, and decks with a BBQ.
