Celebrating 150 Years of Fun

Founded in 1872, the Kinmount Fair will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2022. Plans are in motion to make the 150th anniversary a worthwhile one. 

The theme for this year’s fair is History-Making: Celebrating 150 years. To celebrate and commemorate, you’ll be able to experience a visual retrospective of what the fair was like in the early years. Stop by the Pioneer Complex to check out the Kinmount Fair Film Festival, showcasing film documentaries about the fair, clips, and photographs that go back in time, 50 to 100 years. 

What to See and Do at the Kinmount Fair

This yearly festival runs Labour Day weekend from Friday to Sunday in the village of Kinmount, about one and a half hours north of GTA. It’s an exhilarating and fun experience that attracts visitors from Haliburton and other surrounding towns.
